There's a new singing competition show in town and it's called 'The Voice'. The judges include Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5 's Adam Levine, R&B singer Cee Loo Green and Country Star Blake Shelton with Carson Daly as the host. Basically the judges have their backs to the contestants and concentrate on only their voice and not their looks. The judges hand pick the contestants and groom their talent. 'The Voice' debuts Tues April 26th on NBC. By the way Simon Cowell needs to hurry up and give us details on whom will be the 'X Factor' judges before we get over it.
Every since Jennifer Lopez joined 'American Idol' it now seems cool for A list stars to do TV. Lopez seems to be turing her career around, finally. She has a hit with "On The Floor" and Christina is looking to hopefully have the same success.
I don't know about you but I think Christina Aguilera is so under-rated and never seems to get the respect she deserves like her fellow peers do (Britney Spears get more; whom can't sing as far as I'm concerned). Aguilera has gotten so much flack for her recent mishaps and weight gain. It's not like she's been wild & out of control all these years, she always seemed like a goody goody girl. I'm glad her wild side is out but I do admit she does need to keep it in line. I hope she does great and shows us that she is perfect for the role because she is 'The Voice' of our generation. Her career needs a boast and so does NBC, I'm rooting for these two.
