Is Wyclef Jean lying About Being Shot?

Wyclef Jean had previously claimed he was shot in the had. The alleged  shooting happened in his native Haiti on the eve of presidential elections on the Caribbean island. Jean the former Fugees singer is a huge supporter for presidential candidate Michael Martelly.

Local police are claiming that Jean was only injured by glass and not shot. Jean says "The way I can explain it is that the bullet glazed me in the right hand" he continues "I heard blow, blow and I just looked at my hand". Cops are downplaying the incident and claim Jean suffered only from a minor cut to his hand from glass in an apparent accident.

WOW, what a way to get attention Wyclef Jean, the police can't be lying....right?
