NBA All Star Slam Dunk Competition final Results – The all star week was the best time for those that have their talents. The recap of the All Star Game will first go with the 3-point shot competition with Miami’s James Jones winning it. Jones scored 20 points in the final round, hitting four straight shots late. The star-laden Heat’s outside shooting specialist says he benefited from shooting first in the three-man final.
Although Pierce was the defending champion and Allen recently became the NBA’s career leader in 3-pointers, neither could match Jones’ score in front of booing Lakers fans.
Earlier, Golden State’s Stephen Curry beat Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook to win the Skills Challenge, and a three-person team from Atlanta won the Shooting Stars competition in the firstevent at the NBA All-Star weekend’s silly Saturday.
Blake Griffin garnered 68% of the online voting to make the All Star NBA Slam Dunk competition. He won by capturing the hearts of his viewer as he scored all of his power dunks and finishing it off with a scary dunk over a KIA Optima. His talent goes beyond dunking as he knows how to thrill the fans.
